Origin:
Bred by Francis Gillot (France, 1922).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1924 as 'Lucie Nicolas Meyer'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, deep pink reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, well-branched.  Glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Colonel Nicolas Meyer was the President of the Section Comtoise of Amis des Roses, and 1st VP of the Société d'Horticulture du Doubs.
