Introduced in United States by Antique Rose Emporium (Brenham, Texas) in 1998 as 'Cole's Settlement'.

Shrub.   (Series: Pioneer)  

White or white blend.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 4".  Large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  

Tall, bushy.  Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: up to 6' (up to 185cm).  

USDA zone 5b through 11.  Can be used for garden or hedge.  Hardy.  heat tolerant.  produces decorative hips.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
