Notes:
From Carsten Burkhardt's Web Project Paeonia, quoting a description from Solaris Farms: "Paeonia 'Da-ji palace' Japan, probably a synonym Japan. Not registered with APS. Japanese suffruticosa. Large semi-double to double white flowers (usually more double than the image). One flower per stem. Strong stems present flowers in an upright fashion. Opens wth a blush of pink and by the end of the day is completely white. Superior foliage of medium green. To four feet in Wisconsin. A measured grower—not fast, but not slow. Rarely available. Fertile both ways. One of the best white suffruticosas."
