Rødovre, July 2009. I like this rose increasingly as time goes by. It has a rather sprawling habit and imperfect blooms (slightly torn petals curling over the stamens on the plant I have) but it has the loveliest scent of almost any rose in my garden and very good colouring and I wouldn't part with it. I think it's at its most elegant before it's fully unfurled like in this pic.
