A rose that is very similar in growth habit to that of Tess of the d'Urbervilles, except that it is a bit shorter and narrower, being perhaps 4 feet across and 3 feet tall. The blooms have a good scent. It responds very well to pruning, and is generally healthy except for a touch of powdery mildew with the cooler weather as the seasons change. A keeper.
