Arvid`s garden, Lista, southwestern coast of Norway, July 2009. This clematis is becoming one of my favourites. Somewhat reluctant to climb it has now all the same found its way into my "Honorine de Brabant" trying to compete with "Mrs Cholmondeley" which seems to have taken control of the rose already ; a process that has had me a bit worried for the rose. I call this a luxury problem however. The real problem is a plant that doesn`t want to grow at all.
