San Juan Capistrano, California -- Nov. 2, 2009. Color came out too blue on this one, due to taking the photo in full shade. The rose color is actually a more true red. Bloom does not "blue" when old (unlike Mr. Lincoln). The form in the fall on this rose tends to be better than the form in the spring.
