(Sweet Briar.} One of the Hybrid Sweet Briar roses raised by Lord Penzance in 1894. Both foliage and flower are deliciously fragrant with Sweet Briar perfume. It is very floriferous, and makes fine bushy plants 6 feet high, suitable for shrubberies or hedges. The bright scarlet seed pods are produced in large quantities, and are very pretty in their various tints.
