Arvid`s garden June 23d 2009. This beautiful rose never ceases to facinate me. Here seen in full flush on midsummer`s eve. My warmest thanks to the Spanish breeder Dot for this breathtaking beauty which will always remain a top favourite. Here seen against the backdrop of a neighbour`s house. I planted her sister: Marguerite Hilling in early December 2009. She is now completely covered in snow which is good as we have "enjoyed" temperatures between -2 and -11C since before Christmas. Most of Europe has been affected by the extreme cold which I hope will come to an end as soon as possible. We now write January 10th 2010.
