Just an old-fashioned boquet I put together taken October 12, 2007 after a Rose Club meeting the previous evening. The little minis took first prize, and the lovely person who grew them graciously enhanced my little boquet with them. By October, the alyssum and Chinese forget-me-not were the only flowers left blooming to use for filler. Charlotte puts out regular flushes of bloom all sumer long and, as you can see, into October, but they fade quickly to a lighter yellow, then drop their petals. Z5a
