The typical growing season for roses in Little Rock lasts into December. And, if the night frosts are still very light then, an occasional blossom can be enjoyed at Christmas. For a little protection during "deep winter", where temperatures go into the twenties at night, I use oak leaves that are kindly provided by the neighbor's trees.
