Photo taken Spring, 2009, at the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden, in Victoria, Australia. This variety has a very strong and delicious fragrance, that I have unfortunately really only smelled once, the first time I saw some of these, in a vase, at a rose show. Since then I've seen them plenty of times, at the garden in Mornington, but don't think I've smelled the fragrance once, on the blooms there (despite frequently trying!) Maybe it's gone by early morning, before I get there?
