Thank you for sharing this photo, Mark! It's amazing seeing the success achieved out of Banksiae. Now, it possible, might you also know the parentage of the rose, please? Thank you!

Here, I have the information you asked me, was produced by Candida: Jewel (Embriaco) X Miss Italy (Mansuino). I do not know how you can do to put these data of HMF, which I have communicated directly Embriaco hybridization.

Thank you Mark! I have entered what I could for the parentage. Without the information about this Jewel, I can't add it to the database, but I presume Mansuino's Miss Italia is the same as Miss Italy.

Jewel (Embriaco) could be Gioiello (Jewel in english), another rose bred by Embriaco

Thank you! I would have never known nor figured that out. I've now been able to enter the parentage and it seems logical. The rose you suggest is a Banksiae hybrid, which permits Candida to be one.

In the website of the firm http://www.embriaco.it/ Candida is listed among the "Rose a fiore piccolo-medio (Roselline - ibride di Mansuiniane)" [translation: roses with a small,-medium flower; Small roses - hybrids of Mansuiniane] (menu on the left, Fiori recisi)
