Photo taken today (early autumn) at the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden, just outside Melbourne, Australia. Very, very large blooms of a strong bright orange, orange/red (wasn't as dark or red as it looks in this photo, though- this camera doesn't do red or orange very well.) As you would expect from a rose that comes from Fragrant Cloud and Oklahoma, it has a fantastic fragrance. One of the very best blooms you'll come across, IMO. This particular bloom was just about the most perfectly formed HT rose you would ever want to see and was also HUGE. The sort of bloom that those who exhibit roses probably dream of (as long as they like orange).
