This is one shrub rose that wants to grow tall and upright, sending up strong vertical shoots. Planted in autumn 2010, it had one shoot that was topping the 6' mark in 2012. I cut it down to 2' or so this spring, and now the branches are already reaching for 5'. Our garden in Hamburg, Germany (Z8a), 2013-07-11.
