Always healthy, get big in zone 5a, and blooms early May. The musk scent perfumes my entire patio. Does well in my alkaline heavy clay. It gets better in its 4th year, becomes continuous blooming. I give it chicken manure in spring, and very low-nitrogen & high potassium & phosphorus fertilizer later on.
