6/1/20 I bought this rose about 8 years ago, labeled as The Crepe Rose. After reading members descriptions and Pat Rawly’s comments I feel it does match their description (and the historical confusion) of the Rose Paul Ricault. The blooms looked like they were starting to ball up, but with the recent very cool temps and zero humidity they are opening fine. Every year cardinals nest in it under the gutter. Unfortunately their red color clashes with the rose ???? 6/5/20- now balling up due to rain and humidity.
