June 15, 2022. Typical behaviour with candelabras. I've had florries that won't even do this. Vibrant, coral red into orange and many various shades thereof depending upon weather and UV. Deliciously scented. Pungent, sharp, rich and deep. Nothing like damask/old rose at all, this scent is like geranium, black pepper, and decadent fruity notes. Susceptible to black spot. This plant is 8 years old going on 9 for 2023, planted as 1 1/2 Grade spring 2014 from Regan's. Z5b/Sunset 41 South Central Michigan
