June 6, 2022. Six year old own-root plant from David Austin Roses USA. Extremely prickly. Will get black spot. Intense, rich, delicious old rose fragrance that is expected in roses of this type. Essentially once blooming. Throws a stray flower or has light scattered rebloom at best. Now mostly established and into maturity, she grows in the five to six foot range. I tend to only tip prune because I want her to have size, but in thinking a cut-back and rejuvenation/branch induction may be on order. Z5b/Sunset 41 South Central Michigan
