Beautiful, large rich golden yellow blooms with a bit of variability to colour and a strong fragrance ranging from the dry, herbal tea rose scent to a rich, sweet, lemony one. Highly black spot susceptible. Light green foliage. I question the Z5 hardiness rating of this rose. Suffered die-back over its first winter that Gertrude Jekyll and Fisherman's Friend did not experience under the same conditions. Z5b/Sunset 41 South Central Michigan
