"Ferguson Valley A", Ferguson Valley, SW Western Australia, November (late spring) 2011.
We were first shown this plant on a wet day in late spring 2011.
The leaves have impressed veins that give the leaflets a slightly striated appearance that is highlighted here by the wet surfaces.
The blooms were a shade of creamy flesh, washed with various degrees of blush pink and so the resultant colours ranged from flesh and cream, through shades of pink, buff and apricot and all the other possibilities when you blend translucent pale pinks and pale yellows.
The plant was growing in company with a tree and in increasing shade, so we were seeing an extremely leggy version of this rose.
