I make the short trip down from San Francisco at least three times a year to visit this amazing rose garden. For a rose lover like me, this garden would be worth a trip across the country or even farther. To come in April is to make yourself almost crazy. There are so many roses to see and remember. For me, it is the single most important resource to view roses I have heard about, seen pictures of, coveted in books and generally drooled over. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then seeing the real thing in flower right in front of you is priceless. I feel so lucky to be so close to this invaluable resource to rose lovers. It's worth a pilgrimage.

I saw a rose recently that looked and smelled like a Peony. I was told the name was Eve Pia but can't find any information for it. Can you help? Thanks! Kim

I've searched pretty hard with no luck.  The Kordana roses are typically sold in big box store garden centers such as Walmart.  Mini Brite is the Canadian grower.  The actual name is 'Kiss'.  Code name is KORokis.  Ours was given to us years ago as leftovers from shooting a TV show!Sorry I can't help more.  Mel Hulse
