Mr. Ramirez, on your photo of Secret Garden Musk Climber, will the rose naturally form a mound if left unpruned, or is pruning necessary to keep it in shrub form?

Yes, Secret Garden Musk naturally forms a mound. And I've seen it prunned at least once. But I have a feeling that, when left unprunned, it will look good nonetheless.

It's a real beauty with a very good fragrance.

Hello, This is Enrique. I've been recieving emails of people looking for certain rose cultivars and for cuttings. I have to say that, even though helpmefind.com/roses says that I have over 100 roses... I do not grow all of them. Yes, many of the roses you see were photographed in my garden, but many of them are photographs from the San Jose Guadalupe Heritage Rose Gardens here in California. I suggest to every that to visit the garden, and sadly I cannot grow as many roses that I have photgraphed here. Thank you very much... Enrique MR

I don't know if I did this correctly yesterday, but the Rose listed in E.G. Hill is not correct. The picture must be changed to Sterling. And in the "Photos of this garden" area has that picture, which needs to be removed. I do not own this rose.

WHERE DOES THIS GARDNER LIVE? (I.E., WARMER CLIMATE/ZONE) AND DOES HE HAVE
PROBLEMS WITH BUGS. I LIVE IN HAWAII AND CAN'T KEEP MY ROSES HEALTHY. WHEN
I LIVED IN MICHIGAN, MY ROSES WERE HEARTY.

Hello Christie, I live in San Jose, California. I believe it is a zone 7 or 8. I'm not too sure as I've never payed much attention to it. I do not have a particular problem with bugs, although mildew can get bad if I water at the wrong time. Most of the pictures I've listed here are from the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden, a public garden, and they spray their roses. Some roses show shining qualities, while others fair well enough.

Opps, I made an inaccurate statement. San Jose Heritage Rose Gardens do NOT spray their roses...
