Here in South Carolina I am amazed at this rose's performance during the blistering hot and humid summer. The blooms of this rose in my experience, seem totally immune to the heat (commonly 90+ F in the summer). No fading or wilting so far. Not much disease trouble either, the only black spot attack seemed to occur right as the leaves were on their way out in the fall.

If you live in the South and want a red hybrid tea with class A++ performance, this is the rose for you. The only other rose I would liken to it for heat performance would be Don Juan, although its blooms are not *as* tough as Olympiads, but then again you do get more fragrance out of a DJ.
