I think you told me where you got your 'Spanish Lady' but I can't remember. Do you still grow her? My budder has retired unfortunately but I would love to get more plants if this rose into people's gardens.

There is another rose that was bred in 1937 by this name. Please add 1937 to your search and you will find it on HMF with extensive members comments and description. I grow it and it is fabulous.

I purchased two roses that appeared to be identical about five years ago. One was named, the other not. They were the same and were Marie Luis Marjan. These bushes have glossy leaves and constantly send our clusters with the occasional single bloom. It is vigorous and it sends out arching canes. The blooms are very pleasing. I think you could train it on to a moderate sized trellis. I would recommend it for mild temperate climates like we experience in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

Can also be grown as a climber, with support.
