You maybe correct or not. The rose bush in question was bought from a reputable grower her in Palm Beach County, Florida. I also know that roses will vary in looks with the weather conditions, and this rose varied tremdously throughout the year, often looking similar to other climbing Peace photos on this site.

Unfortunately I know longer have this rose, it along with numerous others were lost to hurricane Wilma in 2005.

I am absolutely sure that this rose is not Peace (Original name MME Antoine Meilland) which origin from France. MME Antoine Meilland has far more petals. The shade of the rose can vary wtih different sunlight length b never will it turn into that shade of salmon red. To me, it looks more like chicago peace.Hope it helps.

I have seen several comments on different websites saying they purchased this rose from the Michigan Bulb Co. Also saw a comment dated Feb. 2002 that somebody had ordered this rose from Publishers Clearing House. Good Luck!

Dzegne,
Thank you for replying to HMF question posted on 2/25/06. You said the rose could be purchased at Michigan Bulk where you also purchased Candy Stripe.
WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE ROSE THAT YOU REPLIED TO? I just can't find my notes. Thank you very much. Diana........Di23gould@aol.com

My mother just got me one via Publishers Clearing house. I'm not sure if you can find it elsewhere, as I've never seen it or heard of it previously.
