Von was the first to experiment with her flat bed scanner in the early days of GardenWeb's Roses in Oz Forum. This was pre digital cameras and opened up a new world to us as she taught many of us how to pick roses and arrange them on the scanner. I can still recall her instruction when I was a tad slow to cotton on ... "close the lid and press 'scan'". After a bit of practice with a wilted rose, I finally got the knack and scanned this image of David Austin's Windrush. This was circa 1997. Thanks for the lessons, Von, I've keep all the images from that time and many remind me of the wonderful days we spent on the RIO together.
