Bred by Henry Bennett (United Kingdom, 1879).
Introduced in Australia by Edwin Smith, Clifton Nursery in 1885 as 'Michael Saunders'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, copper shading, ages to salmon-pink .  Mild fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.

Notes:
Said to be similar to 'Pierre Guillot' - see References.
