Rose 'Catherine de Kerchove'
The Countess after whom this Rose was named, died from cancer in 1990. The listing here shows that she is still alive. This Rose was released commercially with all profits going to Breast Cancer research in Belgium.

It actually says "late wife". The year of death was unknown at the time the note was made.
