Book (1936) Page(s) 120. White de Meaux (Centifolia) 1 1/2 in., white, centre rose pink, some few petals darker at first. Flower cupped, at first showing the darker centre in a hollow like Centifolia, inclined to quarter. Pedicel, hip and calyx red glanded. Calyx very winged, five or six each side. Wings very leafy. This curious character serves at once to distinguish it in bud from the Pink De Meaux. Leaf very downy below, edged glands and hairs. This I take to be Paul's White Burgundy.
