Harry H. Hazlewood. Some New Roses for 1955.
Moulin Rouge (Meilland, 1952), (Hybrid Polyantha): Brilliant glowing scarlet shading to crimson semi-double blooms on vigorous growth with shiny foliage. It has received at least seven high international honours and performed particularly well in the N.R.S. Trial Grounds in 1952.  Hybridists will be interested to note it is a seedling from 'Alain' crossed back to its parent 'Orange Triumph'.
