Not sure if it's the same as Grandma's Red from Antique Rose Emporium. Theirs has very full, stiff petalled carnation like blooms that open slowly and last a while. They list it as fragrant but so far no scent detected. But it has been healthy in hot rainy weather.

Has anyone thought to compare this with Tantau's 'Garnette'?

The one from ARE has no pink tone like Alasa's photo, more red and less multi-flowered like Anonymous-45's. But the Grandma's Red from ARE might be a different rose not listed yet.
