'Brocéliande ®' rose Reviews & Comments

Nice large flower, well scented. Did get blackspot in my Eastern North Carolina garden.
Every single rose that I viewed that was listed on the NIRP website, including this one, was given a maximum score for disease resistance. Obviously, this is not the case.
It puts the credibility of their information into question.

I bought this one dormant last autumn. It is now pushing growth. I was afraid that it would sulk until June, which is quite common here for roses bred in Mediterranean climates. But this one seems un-bothered by that aspect of climate. The next step is to see how it handles out black spot. I know 'Lasting Love' defoliates from top to bottom here, but I am hoping this one just gets a little minor BS at the bottom, like most modern HTS. I'll review this rose next year if I remember to.

Hi Michael, how has this performed for you so far?

The wrong rose was sent. It was Philatelie. I composted it in the autumn. Nice plant shape, vigor, and recurrence, but meh foliage and muddy color. I never bothered trying to order it again. Ordering the minimum requirement of 3 roses over international lines is a pain, as many of us know.
