MRS. ALFRED WEST
(Hybrid Tea)
The flowers are large and pointed, very sweetly scented, and are carried on erect stems in great profusion. A good rose, vigorous in growth, with free branching habit, and quite one of the indispensables for exhibition and bedding, but requires a sheltered position. Should be pruned to within three or four "eyes" about the middle of March, and all sappy wood removed. Introduced in 1922.
