Debut is a blooming king in my garden. Unfortunately, this is one of the few pictures I took of it before it died last spring after pruning. The pruning was not at all severe and there were no frosts and no overt signs of disease or distress. It simply never generated any new canes at the bud union and three years post purchase, died. I would recommend it for its beautiful, near-constant blooming and its fantastic insect and disease resistance, but I'm not sure longevity, at least as a tree form, is a strong suit.
