These are photos of a china rose I collected in the late 1990's. The plants is typical of the china group with small foliage, twiggy growth and small flowers. It is a repeat flowering bush to less than 1 metre. I feel it matches well the rose 'Bengale Jaune-Soufre' as described in Redoute: Petals in four to five rows, ochre-yellow outwards before dehiscence, and yellow-sulphur inside, but passing soon to white-sulphur when the flower is opened out; during the autumn, when the atmosphere is less hot, the flower preserves its first colour well. (Rough translation from Redoute, 3rd edition.) The colour palette is similar to the Tea rose 'Safrano' to which Park's Yellow should be related. I'd be interested in comments an opinions. Thanks.
