In light of there being so many pictures of roses going around under the name of 'Rose du Roi', I'm uploading some of my plant from Vintage Gardens, who propagated theirs as a reversion from 'Panachee de Lyon'. I've had to try and improve my poor photography to increase sharpness and decrease exposure, but no color alterations were made.
This picture from May 2018 -- five years after planting it as an own-root band -- shows an open bloom up-close. Color is somewhat muddled, but petal count and formation can be discerned.
