One year old, second growing season. First full bloom. June 9, 2022. Healthier with establishment? No black spot noted through the season. Bloom size seems to have increased, colour same. A vivid, clear red with no bluing and paler reverse. They ARE fragrant, but it's not the typical scent one would hope to find in a red rose, and it's strangely unmemorable. Moderate and sweet, vaguely fruity I would estimate. Did shut down for a while this summer after the main flush and began growing and budding again in August. Still a shorty; maybe 3' tall.
