Summer 2023 - Devon, England - a very hot start to late spring followed by a very bleak and rainy summer - when stressed and too much sun exposure I have found the blooms to be more magenta in tone and burn on the sides - she does require partial shade to express her lovely dark gothic red tones - this rose is being grown in a pot - year 3 - as a very short climber - routine attention to black spot, feeding, watering as per usual potted roses
