'Blairi', presumably 'Blairii No. 2' from the color, from Robert Sweet's "The British Flower Garden," Second Series, 1838, fig. 405. "Our drawing was taken at Mr. Clay's, Stamford Hill, in June last," Mr. Clay's being where the breeder Blair worked as gardener, so this must be a drawing of the original plant or one of its very earliest propagations.
