Origin:
Bred by Jean-Pierre Vibert (France, 1833).
Class:
Hybrid China, Hybrid Gallica.  
Bloom:
Cream.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped-to-flat, rosette bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Compact, well-branched.  Light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 8b.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes:
Parentage is not certain. Vibert classes it as an "uncertain hybrid" - see References.
