HUNTINGTON RED BRACTEATA Huntington Exclusive!

REPEAT BLOOMING CLIMBING HYBRID BRACTEATA

This is what you get when you cross Gruss an Teplitz with a Hybrid Tea X Bracteata cross. The plant is a climber with unusual “fuzzy” foliage which has an interesting bluish cast to it. There are large, hooked prickles which may “ask” you for attention. It’s buds are fat, ovoid and appear all summer and fall, popping open to a large, quite double, deep “old Hybrid Tea” medium to dark red blooms. You’ll love the thick, sweet fragrance! Train this one on a pillar, or use it on a fence to add a spot of interest and great fragrance. Note to breeders, this one is fertile as a pollen parent!
