Origin:
Bred by Albert Arie Nijveldt / Nyveldt (Netherlands, 1955).
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
White or white blend.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 4".  Large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:

Height: 5' to 7' (150 to 215cm).  Width: 4' to 7' (120 to 215cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 9b.  Can be used for garden, hedge or shrub.  Produces decorative hips.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Lloyd Brace of The Roseraie at Bayfields says this rose is similar to R. rugosa alba, but with slightly wider petals and more days of recurrent bloom. It also responds better to pruning in a hedge.
