Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Reine Victoria'.

Carmine-pink, ages to pink .  Strong fragrance.  40 petals.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Bushy.  

Height: 5' to 7' (150 to 215cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
