Discovered by Georges Truffaut (....-1948) (France).
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Joan of Arc [Jeanne d'Arc], also known as "La Pucelle" and "The Maid of Orleans", French general. Born circa 1412, she was burned at the stake 30 May 1431. She was canonized on 16 May 1920. Her feast day is celebrated 30 May and in France there's a national festival in her honor on the second Sunday in May.
