'Irish Elegance' rose Description

Orange blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Irish Elegance
Bloom:
Veined salmon-flame buds open peach, then fade to salmon-buff. Strong fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 5". Large, single (4-8 petals), flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium green foliage.
Height: 30" to 8' (75 to 245cm). Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
