Bred by Jacques Plantier (France, 1838).
Introduced in Australia by Exotic Nursery (Australia) in 1851 as 'Pierre de St.-Cyr'.

Bourbon.  

Pink to light pink, lilac shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), expanded , flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Bushy.  

Height: up to 5¼' (up to 160cm).
