Light yellow or white. up to 5 petals. Average diameter 1.25". Small, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Glandular sepals, leafy sepals, rounded buds.
Habit:
Medium. 5 to 9 leaflets.
Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).

Notes:
Rosa kokanica (Regel) 1941. Native to SW Asia. See References. Belongs to the Pimpinellifolia section (styles free, shorter than the stamens, blooms solitary, without bracts). Similar to R. spinosissima and R. koreana as it has both prickles and bristles, but the leaflets are doubly serrated and glandular.
