Bred by Rev. Joseph Hardwick Pemberton (United Kingdom, 1919).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1921 as 'Star of Persia'.

Hybrid Foetida/Lutea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, golden-yellow stamens.  Mild fragrance.  6 to 16 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
