Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1934).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Elli Knab'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, light pink undertones, vermilion shading, vermilion veining.  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 6".  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
